FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
10/22/2020
International Mold and Production LLC founder and President Leonard Koren announced today that IMAP is nearing completion on their move in to an almost 10,000 square foot facility in the heart of Kenosha. IMAP purchased the building in May executing a contract that started at the onset of COVID-19 restrictions. Since then IMAP has worked with WE Energy and Pieper Power to install 480V service to the property which was completed in September. The company was previously leasing space from National Materials Transport for the past three years, owned by Terry Atwater Jr.
“IMAP is grateful for the help and support of NMT and Terry Atwater who helped launch IMAP’s foray in to Kenosha. Their assistance was crucial to learning about the community, its workforce, and supply base. We look forward to setting down roots in Kenosha with our own space, providing our workforce and customers with a fantastic place to go to every day, and once our interior is complete we will turn to beautifying the exterior as well.” according to Koren.
IMAP is a product manufacturer of prototype and production parts to many automotive suppliers, electronics. sporting goods, drones, medical, and pet product customers. They also provide injection molds made in both china and the USA. IMAP is interested in growing its mold building capabilities in the USA and has already made investments in CNC, CMM, and EDM equipment. The total investment to date in Kenosha is nearing $500,000 and that also includes 9 3d printers, and three injection molding machines for Engineered Polymers and Two-Shot molding.
